“A dog that talks”… It’s the kind of beautiful dream that everyone surely had when they were children. Yet somehow, along the way, we forget the power of fairy tales and fables. “Massugu ni Ikou.” holds the magical power that stories were always meant to have. Simply put, it’s a story about a dog that talks! But even so, the humans living their ordinary lives in this world can’t hear that voice. The protagonist, Mametaro, is a mixed-breed dog. He loves his owner Iku, and he adores his “girlfriend” Hanako. But for some reason, he just can’t bring himself to like Iku’s boyfriend, Akiyoshi.
