“A dog that talks”… Go Forward (also known as Massugu ni Ikou) holds the magical power that stories were always meant to have. Simply put, it’s a story about a dog that talks! But even so, the humans living their ordinary lives in this world can’t hear that voice. The protagonist, Mametaro, is a mixed-breed dog. He loves his owner, Iku, and he adores his “girlfriend” Hanako. But for some reason, he just can’t bring himself to like Iku’s boyfriend, Akiyoshi, and often feels the need to protect her from him. Go Forward is a spirited look at the everyday adventures of an ordinary dog, one you might find anywhere!
