But even so, the humans living their ordinary lives in this world can’t hear that voice. The protagonist, Mametaro, is a mixed-breed dog. He loves his owner, Iku, and he adores his “girlfriend” Hanako. But for some reason, he just can’t bring himself to like Iku’s boyfriend, Akiyoshi, and often feels the need to protect her from him.
